WALNUT MOUNTAIN PARK
There are approximately 13 miles of Hiking and Mountain Biking Trails winding throughout the park which are considered some of the best in the area. Much of the terrain is steep which allows for a wonderful experience for the advanced mountain bikers, but yet, gradual enough grades for the less experienced bikers and hikers. The views throughout the park are breathtaking.
At the base of the mountain, the park has been developed with picnic areas, a baseball field, soccer field, playground, and a pavilion.

Holiday Mtn. Ski & Fun Park

State park operated by Sullivan County features beach, swimming, boating & boat rentals, fishing, volleyball, playground, picnic tables & grills, picnic pavilions (fee), food concession stands, and bath house with shower. Apple Pond Farm & Renewable Energy Education Center
Summer educational farm programs, and hands-on workshops & farm tours for children and families in the summer. Workshops on renewable energy in March-November. Group programs include: goat milking, planting and picking in the garden, grooming horses, feeding sheep, goats, and chickens (minimum of 20, reservations required). The farm uses wind and solar energy to provide most of the farm's electricity and hot water. A round, two-story straw building demonstrates many of the benefits of using natural building materials and techniques. Used vegetable oil is used in vehicles and a back-up furnace.

Monticello Gaming and Raceway

Minisink Battleground Park
The park, which is listed on both the National Register and the Revolutionary War Heritage Trail, is dedicated to the men who fought and died at the “Battle of Minisink”.
