Lake Jeff cottage is located just over two hours N.W. of Midtown Manhattan in the quaint town of Jeffersonville, New York.
Jeffersonville is a charming country town located in the Western-most part of Sullivan County, known best for an abundance of outdoor, year-round activities due to its vast resources.
Unlike other more secluded lakefront rentals, Lake Jeff Cottage is situated within a town. That means food, shops, and services, are conveniently located just one scenic mile down the creek from the cottage.

Lake Jeff Cottage is a lovely four-season lakefront home perfectly situated on a small, private 22 acres, non-motor lake.
*Lake Jeff is subject to low water periods. Though the lake is full most of the year, during these dry periods the lake recedes away from our property.
Due to the unpredictable water levels, we do NOT charge lakefront prices.
Lakefront homes that accommodate up to 8 guests typically rent for 2-3x our nightly rate. Based on recent years, most of our guests will enjoy a lakefront property at no extra charge.
The upper portion (shallow end) of Lake Jeff offers great wildlife observation opportunities, but the birding is exceptional! You may see the native Bald Eagles, Hawks, the Great Blue Heron, Snowy Egret, King Fisher, migratory waterfowl including the Mallards, Wood Ducks, and Geese amongst other bird species, just steps outside your door. Don't forget to bring your camera!
